It extends as far as 60 kmq and is subdivided into 9 ancient castles with the capital town of San Marino.

3) The castle of Borgo Maggiore.
4) The castle of Acquaviva.

6) The castle of  San Marino  town (the capital of the small State where the old town iis situated.
7)  The castle of Chiesanuova.
8) The castle of Fiorentino.
